Privacy policy
Short version: we don’t track you. Effective 20 October 2026.
Summary
- No analytics, advertising or social-media tracking scripts.
- No cookies are set by SocialAppFix.
- No accounts, sign-ups or forms that send data to us.
- Search and the Fix Finder run entirely in your browser; what you type or choose is not sent to us or anyone else.
- Fonts and images are served from our own site, not third-party services.
Information we collect
Server logs. Like nearly every website, the server that hosts SocialAppFix may automatically record technical details of requests (such as IP address, browser type, page requested and time) for security and to keep the site running. These logs are controlled by our hosting provider’s standard settings and are not used to build profiles or for advertising.
Emails you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address and message and use them only to handle your report. We don’t add you to mailing lists.
Storage in your browser
Guide pages remember which device tab you last picked (iPhone, Android or computer) using your browser’s local storage, so the right steps show first next time. This stays on your device, is never sent to us, and you can clear it in your browser settings at any time. The "Did this solve your problem?" buttons store nothing.
Links to other sites
Guides link to official help pages run by other companies (for example Meta, Apple, Google, TikTok and X). Their privacy policies apply when you visit them.
Children
SocialAppFix is a general-audience information site and doesn’t knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the UK or EU GDPR, or US state privacy laws), you may have rights to access or delete personal data we hold, such as emails you’ve sent us. Contact [email protected].
Changes to this policy
If we ever add analytics or advertising, we will update this policy first and, where the law requires, ask for consent.
