- Channel memberships are separate from YouTube Premium: for Premium refunds see YouTube Premium billing.
Super Chat, Super Stickers and Super Thanks refunds
YouTube says Super Chat, Super Stickers, Super Thanks and YouTube Giving donations are voluntary, non-refundable payments. The only exception it describes is an unauthorized charge, which you can report.
A membership or Super Chat charge you didn’t make
Report it to YouTube as an unauthorized charge from YouTube Help. Our tip: also check who else uses your Google Account or device, and secure the account: see YouTube channel hacked.
Can’t join a membership?
- YouTube says you must be 18 or older (19 in Korea and Algeria), and memberships must be available in your country.
- “We couldn’t verify your country”: try another network or device, join in the YouTube app, and turn off any VPN or proxy (see your VPN’s help).
- Joining on iPhone isn’t available in some countries. YouTube says if you join on a computer, perks work on all available platforms.
- Your member status and channel name may be publicly visible or shared with third parties.
How to know it worked
- Your membership is cancelled or changed, and you know whether a refund applies.
