Can’t verify with a code
X sends a code to the email and/or phone on your account. If you have neither, X says you’re sent to Account information to add one. See add an email or phone number.
How long it takes
X says it may take a few days to prepare your archive. You’ll get an email or push notification when it’s ready. Our tip: check your spam folder for X’s email.
What’s in your archive
X says the archive (HTML and JSON files) includes your profile information, posts, Direct Messages, Moments, media (images, videos and GIFs from posts, DMs and Moments), your followers and following lists, your address book, Lists, the interests and demographics X has inferred about you, and ads you’ve seen or engaged with.
Our tip: this is the way to get posts that no longer show on your profile. See old posts missing.
