Quick answer
Apply in Profile > Menu ☰ > TikTok Studio > Creator Rewards Program; TikTok says it replies in about 3 days. If a video isn’t earning, check it’s at least one minute, original (not a Duet, Stitch, re-upload, slideshow, lip sync, or a video with copyrighted music playing for over a minute), posted after you joined, and has 1,000 qualified views. If your application is rejected, TikTok says you can appeal within 30 days or reapply 30 days after the appeal period. If an account or video is disqualified, appeal within 30 days from the Creator Rewards Program dashboard.

Who can join
TikTok says to join and collect rewards you must:
- Be based in a country where the program is available.
- Be at least 18 (19 in South Korea) and have authentic account information, such as your real name and date of birth.
- Have a Personal Account in good standing. TikTok says Business Accounts and political or government accounts aren’t eligible.
- Have at least 10,000 followers and 100,000 video views in the last 30 days.
- Post original videos that are at least one minute long.
Why a video isn’t earning
TikTok says each video must:
- Be original and high quality, filmed, designed and produced entirely by you.
- Be at least one minute long and uploaded after you joined the program.
- Reach 1,000 qualified For You feed views before it starts earning.
- Not include ads, paid promotions, sponsored content, or be linked to a Series, and not contain misleading information.
Qualified views, TikTok says, are unique views from the For You feed. They exclude fraudulent, paid, promoted and artificial views, views under 5 seconds, and views from people who said they’re not interested. Views from the same account count once per video.
What TikTok doesn’t count as original
- Duets or Stitches.
- Content copied from others, including with their watermark.
- Others’ content with only slight changes, such as speeding it up or adding filters, fixed text or stickers.
- Compilations of other people’s videos or pictures without your own new ideas.
- Looping videos, single or multiple photos, or only text overlays.
- Lip syncs, or copyrighted music playing for over one minute. TikTok says such videos are at risk of being muted.
Reviews, disqualifications and deducted rewards
TikTok says it periodically reviews accounts and videos in the program.
- If a video doesn’t pass review, it can’t collect rewards, TikTok tells you why, and rewards it already collected are deducted from your balance.
- A video that passed can still be removed later if it’s reported or flagged; rewards from removed videos are deducted too.
- TikTok says breaking the program rules, such as buying fake views, inflating followers or tampering with the system, can get you removed from the program temporarily or permanently.
- TikTok says video appeals don’t affect your account.
Appeal a rejection or disqualification
TikTok says all flags and disqualifications can be appealed within 30 days of the notice, and appeal reviews take about 3 days.
- Tap Profile > Menu ☰ > TikTok Studio > Creator Rewards Program.
- Account disqualified: tap Appeal at the bottom. Video disqualified: tap the ineligible video, then Appeal.
- Or appeal from the notification TikTok sends to your inbox.
Application rejected? TikTok says if you believe you’re eligible, you can appeal within 30 days, or reapply 30 days after the appeal period.
